Oxford is a big city surrounded by a river from each side. Probably everyone knows Oxford because of Harry Potter. But there are also more things, what are all very beautiful and it’s certainly worth to visit them.
First is Ashmolean Museum. It’s free, you don´t have to pay anything, but it’s prohibited to wear rucksacks on backs, so you have to put it to safe or wear it backwards-on your stomach. There are a lot of mummys, which is very interesting, and a lor of more sights.
Then you can visit an observatory, Botanical garden or take a look from Carfax Tower. You will see the whole Oxford and all his sights, with its famous university.
You can also do a tour from campus to campus. There are 38 campuses and they are not very far from each other, so you should definitely visit them all. Interesting on this is that every one campus has different arquitecture. Maybe you will see some students and talk with them. I didn’t personally talk with them, but my uncle did and we learnt a lot of things about their lifes.
On the square is a lot of modern shops and some typical, too. Exchange is on every step, so if you don’t have money, you can change it on every street.
You can also rent a boat and do a sightseeing on every one of rivers that enclose Oxford. You won’t see the sights that are in city centre, but it’s very pretty experience, because they’re not common boats, they look like gondolas in Venice and they also swing like that.
It was sunny weather, I don’t know how did I snap these clouds.
